Yeah, it's been a long, long time. Such a site, you're lookin' better than a body has a right to. Don't you know we're playin' with the fire? But we can stop this burnin' desire, Leah! Ah! Leah! Here we go again! Ah! Leah! Is it ever gonna end? Ah! Leah! Here we go again! Ah! Leah! I see your lips and I wonder who's been kissin' them. I never knew how badly I was missin' them. We both know we're never going to make it, but when we touch, we never have to fake it, Leah! Ah! Leah! Here we go again! Ah! Leah! Is it ever gonna end? Ah! Leah! Here we go again! Ah! Leah! We ain't learned our lesson yet! Baby, it's no good. We're just askin' for trouble. I can touch you, but I don't know how to love you. It ain't no use! We'er headed for disaster. Our minds said, "No!" But our hearts were talkin' faster, Leah! Ah! Leah! Here we go again! Ah! Leah! Here we go again! Ah! Leah! Leah, Leah, Leah! Ah! Leah! Here we go again! Ah! Leah, Leah, Leah! Ah! Leah! We're never, ever, ever gonna make it yeah! Ah! Leah! Ah! Leah! Here we go again!

Oh Alabama The devil fools with the best laid plan. Swing low Alabama You got spare change You got to feel strange And now the moment is all that it meant. Alabama, you got the weight on your shoulders That's breaking your back. Your Cadillac has got a wheel in the ditch And a wheel on the track Oh Alabama Banjos playing through the broken glass Windows down in Alabama. See the old folks tied in white ropes Hear the banjo. Don't it take you down home? Alabama, you got the weight on your shoulders That's breaking your back. Your Cadillac has got a wheel in the ditch And a wheel on the track Oh Alabama. Can I see you and shake your hand. Make friends down in Alabama. I'm from a new land I come to you and see all this ruin What are you doing Alabama? You got the rest of the union to help you along What's going wrong?

When the daylight is falling down into the night And the sharks try to cut a big piece out of life And it feels all right to go out to catch an outrageous thrill But it's more like spinning wheels of fortune, which never stand still Big city, big city nights Big city, big city nights When the sunlight is rising up in my eyes And the long night has left me back at somebody's side And it feels all right for a long sweet minute like hours before But it's more like looking out for something, can't find anymore Big city, big city nights Big city, big city nights Big city, big city nights Big city, big city nights There is no dream that you can't make true if you're looking for love But there's no girl's burning the ice away from my heart, maybe tonight Big city, big city nights Big city, big city nights Big city, big city nights Big city, big city nights Big city, big city nights You keep me burning Big city, big city nights Big city, big city nights You keep me burning

Conquistador your stallion stands in need of company And like some angel's haloed brow You reek of purity I see your armor plated breast Has long since lost its sheen And in your death mask face There are no signs which can be seen And though I hoped for something to find I could see no maze to unwind Conquistador a vulture sits, upon your silver sheath And in your rusty scabbard now, the sand has taken seed And though your jewel-encrusted blade Has not been plundered still The sea has washed across your face And taken of its fill And though I hoped for something to find I could see no maze to unwind Conquistador there is no time, I must pay my respect And though I came to jeer at you I leave now with regret And as the gloom begins to fall I see there is no, only all Though you came with sword held high You did not conquer, only die And though I hoped for something to find I could see no maze to unwind And though I hoped for something to find I could see no maze to unwind

Feeling down n' dirty, feeling kinda mean I've been from one to another extreme This time I had a good time, ain't got time to wait I want to stick around till I can't see straight Fill my eyes with that double vision, no disguise for that double vision Ooh, when it gets through to me, it's always new to me My double vision gets the best of me Never do more than I really need My mind is racing, but my body's in the lead Tonight's the night, I'm gonna push it to the limit I live all of my years in a single minute Fill my eyes with that double vision, no disguise for that double vision Ooh, when it gets through to me, it's always new to me My double vision always seems to get the best of me, the best of me, yeah Ooh, double vision, I need my double vision It takes me out of my head, takin' me out of my head I get my double vision, oh, seeing double double Oh, I have double vision, (oh double vision) yeah Oh I'm getting double vision

Welcome to your life There's no turning back Even while we sleep We will find you Acting on your best behaviour Turn your back on mother nature Everybody wants to rule the world It's my own design It's my own remorse Help me to decide Help me make the most of freedom and of pleasure Nothing ever lasts forever Everybody wants to rule the world There's a room where the light won't find you Holding hands while the walls come tumbling down When they do I'll be right behind you So glad we've almost made it So sad they had to fade it Everybody wants to rule the world I can't stand this indecision Married with a lack of vision Everybody wants to rule the world Say that you'll never never never never need it One headline why believe it ? Everybody wants to rule the world All for freedom and for pleasure Nothing ever lasts forever Everybody wants to rule the world

Come in here, dear boy, have a cigar, You're gonna go far, You're gonna fly high, You're never gonna die, You're gonna make it if you try, They're gonna love you. I've always had a deep respect and I mean that most sincere; The band is just fantastic, that is really what I think, Oh, by the way, which one's Pink? And did we tell you the name of the game, boy? We call it "Riding The Gravy Train". We're just knocked out. We heard about the sell out. You're gonna get an album out, You owe it to the people. We're so happy we can hardly count. Everybody else is just green, Have you seen the chart? It's a hell of a start, It could be made into a monster, If we all pull together as a team. And did we tell you the name of the game, boy? We call it "Riding The Gravy Train".

I'm just a wandering on the face of this earth Meeting so many people Who are trying to be free And while I'm traveling I hear so many words Language barriers broken Now we've found the key And if you want the wind of change To blow about you And you're the only other person to know, don't tell me I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band. A thousand pictures can be drawn from one word Only who is the artist We got to agree A thousand miles can lead so many ways Just to know who is driving What a help it would be So if you want this world of yours To turn about you And you can see exactly what to do Please tell me I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band. How can we understand Riots by the people for the people Who are only destroying themselves And when you see a frightened Person who is frightened by the People who are scorching this earth. Scorching this earth I'm just a wandering on the face of this earth Meeting so many people Who are trying to be free And while I'm traveling I hear so many words Language barriers broken Now we've found the key And if you want the wind of change To blow about you And you're the only other person to know, don't tell me I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band. I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band How can we understand Riots by the people for the people Who are only destroying themselves And when you see a frightened Person who is frightened by the People who are scorching this earth. Scorching this earth Music is the traveler crossing our world Meeting so many people bridging the seas I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band Music is the traveler crossing our world Meeting so many people bridging the seas I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band. We're just the singers in a rock and roll band. I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band...

Can't think of any reason Don't know exactly why Must be it's out of season Give it another try I'm out here in the meadow Part of an old stone wall Stand here because he said so Waitin' around to fall Some things are left unspoken Some things are hand me down The circle stands unbroken Sendin' it back around I've seen you roll in clover Dressed for a scarecrow wall Too bad the dance is over Nothin' to show at all Can't help but feel uncertain Knowing which way to turn They want to raise the curtain And you're holdin' the words to learn I'm out here in the meadow Part of an old stone wall Stand here because he said so Waitin' around to fall © WALSH, JOSEPH FIDLER / CULLIE, PATRIC

I used to be such a sweet, sweet thing 'Til they got a hold of me. I opened doors for little old ladies, I helped the blind to see. I got no friends 'cause they read the papers. They can't be seen with me and I'm gettin' real shot down And I'm feeling mean. [Chorus] No more Mister Nice Guy, No more Mister Clean, No more Mister Nice Guy, They say he's sick, he's obscene. I got no friends 'cause they read the papers. They can't be seen with me and I'm feelin' real shot down And I'm gettin' mean. No more Mister Nice Guy, No more Mister Clean, No more Mister Nice Guy, They say he's sick, he's obscene. My dog bit me on the leg today. My cat clawed my eyes. Ma's been thrown out of the social circle, And dad has to hide. I went to church incognito. When everybody rose, the Reverend Smith, He recognized me, And punched me in the nose, he said. No more Mister Nice Guy, No more Mister Clean, No more Mister Nice Guy, He said you're sick, you're obscene. No more Mister Nice Guy, No more Mister Clean, No more Mister Nice Guy, He said you're sick, you're obscene.

Since you've been gone I feel my life slippin' away I look to the sky And everything is turnin' grey All I made was one mistake how much more will I have to pay Why can't you think it over Why can't you forget about the past? When love makes a sound babe A heart needs a second chance Don't put me down babe Can't you see I love you Since you've been gone I've been in a trance This heart needs a second chance Don't say it's over I just can't say goodbye So this is love Standing in the pouring rain I've called on you 'Cause she never meant a thing And I know I ain't got the right To ask you to sympathize. But why can't you think it over Why can't you forget about the past? When love makes a sound babe A heart needs a second chance Don't put me down babe Can't you see I love you Since you've been gone I've been in a trance This heart needs a second chance Don't say it's over I just can't say goodbye I never loved her I never needed her She was willing and that's all there is to say Don't forsake me. Please don't leave me now A heart needs a second chance When love makes a sound babe A heart needs a second chance Don't put me down babe Can't you see I love you Since you've been gone I've been in a trance This heart needs a second chance Don't say it's over I just can't say goodbye Please forgive me and forget it I was wrong and I admit it Why can't we talk it over Why can't we forget about Forget about the past A heart needs a second chance A heart needs a second chance When love makes a sound babe A heart needs a second chance Don't put me down babe Can't you see I love you Since you've been gone I've been in a trance This heart needs a second chance Don't say it's over I just can't say goodbye A heart needs a second chance When love makes a sound babe

High time we made a stand & shook up the views of the common man And the love train rides from coast to coast DJ's the man we love the most Could you be, could you be squeaky clean And smash any hope of democracy As the headline says you're free to choose There's egg on your face and mud on your shoes One of these days they're gonna call in the ruse, yeah (Sowing the seeds of love) anything is possible (Seeds of love) when you're sowing the seeds of love (Sowing the seeds of love) (Sowing the seeds of love) anything is possible (Seeds of love) sowing the seeds of love (Sowing the seeds) I spy tears in their eyes They look to the skies for some kind of divine intervention Food goes to waste, so nice to eat, so nice to taste Politician Granny with your high ideals Have you no idea how the majority feels So without love and a promised land We're fools to the rules of a government plan Kick out the style, bring back the jam (Sowing the seeds of love) anything (seeds of love) (Sowing the seeds of love) (Sowing the seeds of love, seeds of love) Sowing the seeds, the birds and the bees, my girlfriend and me in love Feel the pain, talk about it, if you're a worried man then shout about it Open hearts, feel about it, open minds, think about it Everyone read about it, everyone scream about it Everyone (everyone, yeah yeah) Everyone (everyone) read about it, read about it Read it in the books in the crannies And the nooks there are books to read...Chorus!!! (Sowing the seeds of love) Oh, the seeds of love We're sowing the seeds, sowing the seeds We're sowing the seeds of love. we're sowing the seeds Sowing the seeds of love, we're sowing the seeds of love (Mr. England sowing the seeds of love) (Time to eat all your words, swallow your pride, open your eyes) Time to eat all your words, swallow your pride, open your eyes High time we made a stand (time to eat all your words) And shook up the views of the common man (swallow your pride) And the love train rides from coast to coast (open your eyes) Every minute of every hour "I Love a Sunflower" (open your eyes) And I believe in love power (open your eyes) Love power, love (open your eyes) power (Sowing the seeds of love, seeds of love…Sowing the seeds of love) (Sowing the seeds of love, seeds of love) We're sowing the seeds (sowing the seeds of love) Sowing the seeds of love, we're sowing the seeds (seeds of love) Sowing the seeds, an end to need, and the politics of greed with love (Sowing the seeds of love, seeds of love, sowing the seeds of love) (Sowing the seeds of love) anything (seeds of love) anything (Sowing the seeds of love, Sowing the seeds of love, seeds of love) (Sowing the seeds, an end to need, and the politics of greed with love) (Sowing the seeds of love, seeds of love, sowing the seeds of love) (Sowing the seeds of love, seeds of love, sowing the seeds of love) (Sowing the seeds of love, seeds of love, sowing the seeds of love) (Sowing the seeds of love, seeds of love)

What a drag it is These gold lame jeans Is this the coolest way To get through your teens Well, I cut my hair (well, I cut my hair weird) With a rib that it was in (I read that it was in) I looked like a rooster Than was drowned and raised again What are you gonna do I tell you what I'm gonna do (I'll tell you what I'm gonna do) Why don't you get away I'm gonna leave today I ran into my room And I fell down on my knees Well, I thought that fifteen Was gonna be a breeze I picked up my guitar To blast away the clouds But somebody in the next room yield (but somebody in the next room yelled) "You gotta turn that damn thing down!" What are you gonna do I tell you what I'm gonna do (I'll tell you what I'm gonna do) Why don't you get away Well, I'm gonna cry all day And I know trouble Is brewin' out there But I can hardly care They fight all night About his private secretary Lipstick stain, blond hair What are you gonna do I tell you what I'm gonna do Why don't you run away I'm gonna leave today But even I Don't know what I'm gonna do Don't know what I'm gonna do What are you gonna do I tell you what I'm gonna do (I'll tell you what I'm gonna do) Why don't you run away Well, I'm gonna leave today What are you gonna do I tell you what I'm gonna do (I'll tell you what I'm gonna do) Why don't you get away Well, I'd rather cry all day What are you gonna do, gonna do, gonna do...

We passed upon the stair We spoke of was and when Although I wasn't there He said I was his friend Which came as a surprise I spoke into his eyes I thought you died alone A long long time ago Oh no, not me We never lost control You're face to face With the man who sold the world I laughed and shook his hand And made my way back home I searched for form and land [Alt: I searched for foreign land] For years and years I roamed I gazed a gazeless stare At all the millions here [Alt 1: We walked a million years] [Alt 2: With multimillionaires] [Alt 3: We walked a million hills] I must have died alone [Alt: I must have died along] A long, long time ago Who knows? Not me I never lost control You're face to face With the man who sold the world Who knows? Not me We never lost control You're face to face With the man who sold the world

The screen door slams, Mary's dress waves Like a vision she dances across the porch as the radio plays Roy Orbison singing for the lonely Hey, that's me and I want you only Don't turn me home again, I just can't face myself alone again Don't run back inside, darling, you know just what I'm here for So you're scared and you're thinking that maybe we ain't that young anymore Show a little faith, there's magic in the night You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright Oh, and that's alright with me You can hide 'neath your covers and study your pain Make crosses from your lovers, throw roses in the rain Waste your summer praying in vain For a savior to rise from these streets Well now, I ain't no hero, that's understood All the redemption I can offer, girl, is beneath this dirty hood With a chance to make it good somehow Hey, what else can we do now? Except roll down the window and let the wind blow back your hair Well, the night's busting open, these two lanes will take us anywhere We got one last chance to make it real To trade in these wings on some wheels Climb in back, heaven's waiting on down the tracks Oh oh, come take my hand We're riding out tonight to case the promised land Oh oh oh oh, Thunder Road Oh, Thunder Road, oh, Thunder Road Lying out there like a killer in the sun Hey, I know it's late, we can make it if we run Oh oh oh oh, Thunder Road Sit tight, take hold, Thunder Road Well, I got this guitar and I learned how to make it talk And my car's out back if you're ready to take that long walk From your front porch to my front seat The door's open but the ride ain't free And I know you're lonely for words that I ain't spoken But tonight we'll be free, all the promises'll be broken There were ghosts in the eyes of all the boys you sent away They haunt this dusty beach road in the skeleton frames of burned-out Chevrolets They scream your name at night in the street Your graduation gown lies in rags at their feet And in the lonely cool before dawn You hear their engines rolling on But when you get to the porch, they're gone on the wind So Mary, climb in It's a town full of losers, I'm pulling out of here to win

Now that I've lost everything to you You say you wanna start something new And it's breakin' my heart you're leavin' Baby, I'm grievin' But if you wanna leave, take good care I hope you have a lot of nice things to wear But then a lot of nice things turn bad out there [Chorus:] Oh, baby, baby, it's a wild world It's hard to get by just upon a smile Oh, baby, baby, it's a wild world I'll always remember you like a child, girl You know I've seen a lot of what the world can do And it's breakin' my heart in two Because I never wanna see you a sad girl Don't be a bad girl But if you wanna leave, take good care I hope you make a lot of nice friends out there But just remember there's a lot of bad and beware [Chorus] Baby, I love you But if you wanna leave, take good care I hope you make a lot of nice friends out there But just remember there's a lot of bad and beware [Chorus]

about

Michael William Andersen Los Angeles, California

There was a Professional Rock Band in San Francisco in the Seventies. I had met Larry Hanson in about 1973 in Salt Lake City and he showed me how to play Rock Music. I thought I heard him on the radio with Styx after coming home from his house one day. I bought decent equipment in 2003 and made these recordings because the UofU demanded pay. They have called me Totally Permanently Disabled. ... more
