Back when Cain was able Way before the stable Lighting struck right down from the sky A mother ship with fate said let's give it a try Conscience was related Man he was created Lady luck took him by surprise A sweet and bitter fruit it surely opened his eyes Well she ate it Lordy it was love at first bite Well she ate it Never knowin wrong from right right right Even Eve in Eden Voices tried deceiving With lies that showed the lady the way At first she stopped and turned and tried to walk away Man he was believer Lady was deceiver So the story goes but you see The snake was he and she just climbed right up his tree So she ate it Lordy it was love at first bite Well she ate it Never knowin wrong from right right right Whooooaaa...... Conscience was related Man he was created When lady luck took him by surprise The sweet and bitter fruit it surely opened his eyes Evil came like reignin Who knows who's to blamin Something tried to lay her to waste And all she want and need was just a little taste Whooa, she ate it Lordy it was love at first bite Well she ate it Never knowin wrong from right right right Well she ate it Lordy it was love at first bite Yeah she ate it Never knowin wrong from right right Oh that's right

Once in your life you'll find her Someone who turns your heart around And next thing you know You're closin' down the town Wake up and she's still with you Even though you left her way across town You're wonderin' to yourself Hey what've I found [Chorus] When you get caught between the moon and New York City I know it's crazy but it's true If you get caught between the moon and New York City The best that you can do (the best that you can do) The best that you can do is fall in love Arthur he does what he pleases All of his life his master's toys And deep in his heart He's just he's just a boy Livin' his life one day at a time He's showing himself a really good time He's laughin' about the way They want him to be [Chorus]

Daniel is traveling tonight on a plane I can see the red tail lights heading for Spain Oh and I can see Daniel waving goodbye God it looks like Daniel, must be the clouds in my eyes They say Spain is pretty though I've never been Well Daniel says it's the best place that he's ever seen Oh and he should know, he's been there enough Lord I miss Daniel, oh I miss him so much Daniel my brother you are older than me Do you still feel the pain of the scars that won't heal Your eyes have died but you see more than I Daniel you're a star in the face of the sky Daniel is traveling tonight on a plane I can see the red tail lights heading for Spain Oh and I can see Daniel waving goodbye God it looks like Daniel, must be the clouds in my eyes Oh God it looks like Daniel, must be the clouds in my eyes

Doctor, my eyes have seen the years And the slow parade of fears without crying Now I want to understand I have done all that I could To see the evil and the good without hiding You must help me if you can Doctor, my eyes Tell me what is wrong Was I unwise to leave them open for so long 'Cause I have wandered through this world And as each moment has unfurled I've been waiting to awaken from these dreams People go just where they will I never noticed them until I got this feeling That it's later than it seems Doctor, my eyes Tell me what you see I hear their cries Just say if it's too late for me Doctor, my eyes Cannot see the sky Is this the prize For having learned how not to cry

In the event that this fantastic voyage Should turn to erosion and we never get old Remember it's true, dignity is valuable But our lives are valuable too We're learning to live with somebody's depression And I don't want to live with somebody's depression We'll get by, I suppose It's a very modern world, but nobody's perfect It's a moving world, but that's no reason Shoot some of those missiles Think of us as fatherless scum It won't be forgotten 'Cause we'll never say anything nice again, will we? And the wrong words make you listen In this criminal world Remember it's true, loyalty is valuable But our lives are valuable too We're learning to live with somebody's depression And I don't want to live with somebody's depression We'll get by I suppose But any sudden movement I've got to write it down They wipe out an entire race and I've got to write it down But I'm still getting educated but I've got to write it down And it won't be forgotten 'Cause I'll never say anything nice again, how can I?

Green-eyed lady, lovely lady Strolling slowly towards the sun Green-eyed lady, ocean lady Soothing every raging wave that comes Green-eyed lady, passion's lady Dressed in love, she lives for life to be Green-eyed lady feels life I never see Setting suns and lonely lovers free Green-eyed lady, wind-swept lady Rules the night, the waves, the sand Green-eyed lady, ocean lady Child of nature, friend of man Green-eyed lady, passion's lady Dressed in love, she lives for life to be Green-eyed lady feels life I never see Setting suns and lonely lovers free

What mattered to me Was the right to be free Like I'll be someday I'm waiting for my heart to lead the way The places I've seen And the road in between Make me wonder why I'm searching for my dreams up in the sky I heard the call And in the mirror I saw the writing on the wall And I had to fall In love with you The face that I've known Seems so lost and alone When you're far away I'm comin' for you baby right away The places I've seen And the roads in between Make me wonder why I'm searching for me dreams up in the sky I heard the call And in the mirror I saw the writing on the wall And I had to fall In love with you What mattered to me Was the right to be free Like I'll be someday I'm waiting for my heart to lead the way

Everybody, listen to me, And return me, my ship. I'm your captain, I'm your captain, though I'm feeling mighty sick. I've been lost now, days uncounted, And it's months since I've seen home. Can you hear me, can you hear me, Or am I all alone. If you return me, to my home port, I will kiss you mother earth. Take me back now, take me back now, To the port of my birth. Am I in my cabin dreaming, or are you really scheming, To take my ship away from me? You'd better think about it, I just can't live without it. So, please don't take my ship from me. Yeah, yeah, yeah ... I'm your captain, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm your captain, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm your captain, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm your captain, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm getting closer to my home ... I'm getting closer to my home ... I'm getting closer to my home ... I'm getting closer to my home ... I'm getting closer to my home ... I'm getting closer to my home ... I'm getting closer to my home ... I'm getting closer to my home ... I'm getting closer to my home ... I'm getting closer to my home ... I'm getting closer to my home ... I'm getting closer to my home ... I'm getting closer to my home ... I'm getting closer to my home ...fades

Good sense, innocence, cripplin' mankind Dead kings, many things I can't define Occasions, persuasions clutter your mind Incense and peppermints, the color of time Who cares what games we choose? Little to win but nothin' to lose Incense and peppermints, meaningless nouns Turn on, tune in, turn your eyes around Look at yourself, look at yourself, yeah, yeah Look at yourself, look at yourself, yeah, yeah, yeah! To divide this cockeyed world in two Throw your pride to one side, it's the least you can do Beatniks and politics, nothing is new A yardstick for lunatics, one point of view Who cares what games we choose? Little to win but nothin' to lose [Instrumental break] Good sense, innocence, cripplin' mankind Dead kings, many things I can't define Occasions, persuasions clutter your mind Incense and peppermints, the color of time Who cares what games we choose? Little to win but nothin' to lose Incense and peppermints Incense and peppermints Sha la la Sha la la Sha la la Sha la la Sha la la [Fade]

Only love Can make it rain The way the beach is kissed by the sea. Only love Can make it rain Like the sweat of lovers' Laying in the fields. Love, reign o'er me. Love, reign o'er me, rain on me. Only love Can bring the rain That makes you yearn to the sky. Only love Can bring the rain That falls like tears from on high. Love reign o'er me. On the dry and dusty road The nights we spend apart alone I need to get back home to cool cool rain. I can't sleep and I lay and I think The nights are hot and black as ink Oh God, I need a drink of cool cool rain.

Well I've had dreams enough for one And I've got love enough for three I have my hopes to comfort me I got my new horizons out to sea But I'm never going to lose your precious gift It will always be that way Cos I know I'm going to find my own peace of mind Someday... Where is this place that we have found Nobody knows where we are bound I long to hear, I need to see Cos I've shed tears too many for me But I'm never going to lose your precious gift It will always be that way Cos I know I'm going to find my own peace of mind Someday... On the wind soaring free Spread your wings I'm beginning to see Out of mind far from view Beyond the reach of a nightmare come true Well I've had dreams enough for one And I got love enough for three I have my hopes to comfort me I got my new horizons out to sea But I'm never going to lose your precious gift It will always be that way Cos I know I'm going to find my own peace of mind Someday... Someway...

Yeah... All is quiet on New Year's Day A world in white gets underway I want to be with you Be with you night and day Nothing changes on New Year's Day On New Year's Day I will be with you again I will be with you again Under a blood red sky A crowd has gathered in black and white Arms entwined, the chosen few The newspapers says, says Say it's true it's true... And we can break through Though torn in two We can be one I...I will begin again I...I will begin again Oh... Maybe the time is right Oh...maybe tonight... I will be with you again I will be with you again And so we're told this is the golden age And gold is the reason for the wars we wage Though I want to be with you Be with you night and day Nothing changes On New Year's Day On New Year's Day

Came in from a rainy Thursday on the avenue Thought I heard you talking softly I turned on the lights, the TV and the radio Still I can´t escape the ghost of you What has happened to it all? Crazy, some´d say Where is the life that I recognize? Gone away But I won´t cry for yesterday There´s an ordinary world Somehow I have to find And as I try to make my way To the ordinary world I will learn to survive Passion or coincidence Once prompted you to say "Pride will tear us both apart" Well now pride´s gone out the window Cross the rooftops, run away Left me in the vacuum of my heart What is happening to me? Crazy, some´d say Where is my friend when I need you most? Gone away [Chorus] Papers in the roadside Tell of suffering and greed Here today, forgot tomorrow Ooh, here besides the news Of holy war and holy need Ours is just a little sorrowed talk [Chours] Every one is my world, I will learn to survive Any one is my world, I will learn to survive Any one is my world Every one is my world

You've seen life through distorted eyes You know you had to learn The execution of your mind You really had to turn The race is run the book is read The end begins to show The truth is out, the lies are old But you don't want to know Nobody will ever let you know When you ask the reasons why They just tell you that you're on your own Fill your head all full of lies The people who have crippled you You want to see them burn The gates of life have closed on you And now there's just no return You're wishing that the hands of doom Could take your mind away And you don't care if you don't see again The light of day Nobody will ever let you know When you ask the reasons why They just tell you that you're on your own Fill your head all full of lies Where can you run to What more can you do No more tomorrow Life is killing you Dreams turn to nightmares Heaven turns to hell Burned out confusion Nothing more to tell Everything around you What's it coming to God knows as your dog knows Bog blast all of you Sabbath Bloody Sabbath Nothing more to do Living just for dying Dying just for you

Say you will, say you won't Make up your mind tonight Say you do, say you don't Wanna be mine Say you will, say you won't Make up your mind this time Say you will, say you won't Be mine tonight I can't sleep I keep dreaming I'm losing you Feel so alone in the night, scared to open my eyes I'm in too deep, I'm in over my head this time Can't get you out of my mind no matter how hard I try So won't you Say you will, say you won't Make up your mind tonight Say you do, say you won't Be my guiding light Say you will, say you won't Make up your mind this time Say you do, say you do You wanna be mine I get the feeling I've never been here before 'Cause no one I've known's ever moved me the way that you do And I know this is the real thing It's all I've been searching for I've put it all on the line now I'm hoping you feel that way too (And if you do) why don't you Say you will, say you won't Make up your mind tonight Say you do, say you don't Wanna be mine Now will you Say you will, you say you won't Make up your mind this time Say you will, say you will You'll be mine tonight [break] Will you tell me how much I mean to you Will you say you always will be true I need more than a come-on sign So won't you say you will be mine Now won't you say you will, say you won't Make up your mind tonight Say you will, say you will Be my guiding light Say you will, say you will Make up your mind this time Say you do, say you do You wanna be mine Come on come on Say you will make up your mind tonight Say you will, say you will Be mine tonight

"True" (Ha-ha-ha, ha-ah-hi) (Ha-ha-ha, ha-ah-hi) So true Funny how it seems Always in time, but never in line for dreams Head over heels when toe to toe This is the sound of my soul This is the sound I bought a ticket to the world But now I've come back again Why do I find it hard to write the next line? Oh, I want the truth to be said (Ha-ha-ha, ha-ah-hi) I know this much is true (Ha-ha-ha, ha-ah-hi) I know this much is true With a thrill in my head and a pill on my tongue Dissolve the nerves that have just begun Listening to Marvin (All night long) This is the sound of my soul This is the sound Always slipping from my hands Sand's a time of its own Take your seaside arms and write the next line Oh, I want the truth to be known (Ha-ha-ha, ha-ah-hi) I know this much is true (Ha-ha-ha, ha-ah-hi) I know this much is true I bought a ticket to the world But now I've come back again Why do I find it hard to write the next line? Oh, I want the truth to be said (Ha-ha-ha, ha-ah-hi) I know this much is true (Ha-ha-ha, ha-ah-hi) I know this much is true This much is true (This much is a-true-oo) (This much is a-true-oo-oo) I know, I know, I know this much is true (This much is a-true-oo) (This much is a-true-oo-oo) (This much is a-true-oo) (Ha-ha-ha, ha-ah-hi) (This much is a true-oo-oo) I know this much is true (This much is a-true-oo) (Ha-ha-ha, ha-ah-hi) (This much is a true-oo-oo) Know this much is true (This much is a-true-oo) (Ha-ha-ha, ha-ah-hi) (This much is a-true-oo-oo) (Know this much is true) I know, I know, I know this much is true

Sometimes when this place gets kind of empty Sound of their breath fades with the light I think about the loveless fascination Under the Milky Way tonight Lower the curtain down on Memphis Lower the curtain down all right I got no time for private consultation Under the Milky Way tonight Wish I knew what you were looking for Might have known what you would find And it's something quite peculiar Something shimmering and white Leads you here despite your destination Under the Milky Way tonight Wish I knew what you were looking for Might have known what you would find Wish I knew what you were looking for Might have known what you would find And it's something quite peculiar Something shimmering and white Leads you here despite your destination Under the Milky Way tonight Wish I knew what you were looking for Might have known what you would find Wish I knew what you were looking for Might have known what you would find Under the Milky Way tonight Under the Milky Way tonight Under the Milky Way tonight

Backstroke lover always hidin' 'neath the covers 'Til I talked to your daddy he say He said you ain't seen nothin' 'til you're down on a MUFF AND Then you're sure to be a-changin' your way I met a cheerleader was a real young bleeder Oh the times I could reminisce 'Cause the best things of lovin' with her sister and her cousin Only started with a little kiss A like this See-saw swingin' with the boys in the school And your feet flyin' up in the air Singin' hey diddle diddle With your kitty in the middle of the swing like you didn't care So I took a big chance at the high school dance With a missy who was ready to play Wasn't me she was foolin' 'cause she knew what she was doin' And I know love was here to stay When she told me to Walk this way Walk this way Walk this way Walk this way Walk this way Walk this way Walk this way Walk this way A just gimme a kiss Like this School girl sweetie with a sassy kinda classy Little skirt's climbin' way up the knee It was three young ladies in a school gym locker When I noticed they were lookin' at me I was a high school loser never made it with a lady 'Til the boys told me something I missed Then my next door neighbor with a daughter had a favor So I gave her just a little kiss A like this Seesaw swingin' with the boys in the school And your feet flyin' up in the air I sing hey diddle diddy Wit'cha kitty in the middle of the swing like ya didn't care So I took a big chance at the high school dance With a missy who was ready to play Wasn't me she was foolin' 'cause she knew what she was doin' When she told me how to walk this way She told me to Walk this way Talk this way Walk this way Walk this way Walk this way Walk this way Walk this way Talk this way A just gimme a kiss Like this

So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell, Blue skies from pain. Can you tell a green field From a cold steel rail? A smile from a veil? Do you think you can tell? Did they get you to trade Your heroes for ghosts? Hot ashes for trees? Hot air for a cool breeze? And cold comfort for change? Did you exchange A walk on part in the war, For a lead role in a cage? How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls Swimming in a fish bowl, Year after year, Running over the same old ground. What have we found The same old fears. Wish you were here.

about

Michael William Andersen Los Angeles, California

There was a Professional Rock Band in San Francisco in the Seventies. I had met Larry Hanson in about 1973 in Salt Lake City and he showed me how to play Rock Music. I thought I heard him on the radio with Styx after coming home from his house one day. I bought decent equipment in 2003 and made these recordings because the UofU demanded pay. They have called me Totally Permanently Disabled. ... more
