I found my thrill on Blueberry Hill On Blueberry Hill when I found you The moon stood still on Blueberry Hill And lingered until my dreams came true (The wind in the willow played Love's sweet melody But all of those vows we made Were never to be) Though we're apart, you're part of me still For you were my thrill on Blueberry Hill (I found my thrill) Come climb the hill with me, baby (on Blueberry Hill) We'll see what we shall see (on Blueberry Hill) I'll bring my horn with me (when I found you) I'll be wit' you where berries are blue (the moon stood still) Each afternoon we'll go (on Blueberry Hill) Higher than the moon we'll go (and lingered until) Then, to a weddin' in June we'll go (my dreams came true) Ba-ba-da-de-buzz-buzz va-de-n-da-day The wind in the willow played (do you really love me) Love's sweet melody (as I love you?) But all of those vows we made (will you still remember) Were never to be (when the night is through?) Though we're apart, you're part of me still For you were my thrill on Blueberry Hill

Everybody, yeah Take it to the streets Give the people hope, yeah Give them love Down in the street there is violence Lots of work to be done No place to hang out our washing And I can't blame it all on the sun Oh no We gonna rock down to Electric Avenue And then we'll take it higher Oh we gonna rock down to Electric Avenue And then we'll take it higher Workin' so hard like a soldier Can't afford a thing on TV Deep in my heart I'm a warrior Can't get food for the kids Oh yeah, we gonna rock down to Electric Avenue And then we'll take it higher Oh we gonna rock down to Electric Avenue And then we'll take it higher We'll bring them love We'll bring them hope We'll bring them peace We'll bring peace out in the streets Then we'll take them higher Who is to blame in one country Never can get to the one Dealin' in multiplication And they still can't feed everyone Oh no we gonna rock Out in the street I say out in the street Out in the playground In the dark side of town We gonna rock down to Electric Avenue Then we'll take it higher Oh we gonna rock down to Electric Avenue Then we'll take it higher Electric Avenue Take it to the streets Electric Avenue Give the people hope Electric Avenue Everybody yeah Give them love Electric Avenue

You'll remember me when the west wind moves Upon the fields of barley You'll forget the sun in his jealous sky As we walk in fields of gold So she took her love For to gaze awhile Upon the fields of barley In his arms she fell as her hair came down Among the fields of gold Will you stay with me, will you be my love Among the fields of barley We'll forget the sun in his jealous sky As we lie in fields of gold See the west wind move like a lover so Upon the fields of barley Feel her body rise when you kiss her mouth Among the fields of gold I never made promises lightly And there have been some that I've broken But I swear in the days still left We'll walk in fields of gold We'll walk in fields of gold Many years have passed since those summer days Among the fields of barley See the children run as the sun goes down Among the fields of gold You'll remember me when the west wind moves Upon the fields of barley You can tell the sun in his jealous sky When we walked in fields of gold When we walked in fields of gold When we walked in fields of gold

It was an early morning yesterday I was up before the dawn And I really have enjoyed my stay But I must be moving on Like a king without a castle Like a queen without a throne I'm an early morning lover And I must be moving on Now I believe in what you say Is the undisputed truth But I have to have things my own way To keep me in my youth Like a ship without an anchor Like a slave without a chain Just the thought of those sweet ladies Sends a shiver through my veins And I will go on shining Shining like brand new I'll never look behind me My troubles will be few Goodbye stranger it's been nice Hope you find your paradise Tried to see your point of view Hope your dreams will all come true Goodbye Mary, goodbye Jane Will we ever meet again Feel no sorrow, feel no shame Come tomorrow, feel no pain Sweet devotion (Goodbye, Mary) It's not for me (Goodbye, Jane) Just give me motion (Will we ever) To set me free (Meet again?) In the land and the ocean (Feel no sorrow) Far away (Feel no shame) It's the life I've chosen (Come tomorrow) Every day (Feel no pain) So goodbye, Mary (Goodbye, Mary) Goodbye, Jane (Goodbye, Jane) Will we ever (Will we ever) Meet again? (Meet again?) Now some they do and some they don't And some you just can't tell And some they will and some they won't With some it's just as well You can laugh at my behaviour And that'll never bother me Say the devil is my saviour But I don't pay no heed And I will go on shining Shining like brand new I'll never look behind me My troubles will be few Goodbye, stranger, it's been nice Hope you find your paradise Tried to see your point of view Hope your dreams will all come true Goodbye, Mary, goodbye, Jane Will we ever meet again? Feel no sorrow, feel no shame Come tomorrow, feel no pain Sweet devotion (Goodbye, Mary) It's not for me (Goodbye, Jane) Just give me motion (Will we ever) To set me free (Meet again?) In the land and the ocean (Feel no sorrow) Far away (Feel no shame) It's the life I've chosen (Come tomorrow) Every day (Feel no pain) So now I'm leaving (Goodbye, Mary) Got to go (Goodbye, Jane) Hit the road (Will we ever) I'll say it once again (Meet again?) Oh, yes, I'm leaving (Feel so sorrow) Got to go (Feel no shame) Got to go (Come tomorrow) I'm sorry, I must dash (Feel no pain) So goodbye, Mary (Goodbye, Mary) Goodbye, Jane (Goodbye, Jane) Will we ever (Will we ever) Meet again? (Meet again?) Oh, I'm leaving I've got to go

I ain't never been with a woman long enough For my boots to get old We've been together so long now They both need resoled If I ever settle down You'd be my kind And it's a good time for me To head on down the line Heard it in a love song (3x) Can't be wrong I'm the kinda man likes to get his way Like to start dreaming about Tomorrow, today Never said that I love you even though its so Where's that duffle bag of mine? It's time to go Heard it in a love song (3x) Can't be wrong I'm gonna be leaving At the break of dawn Wish you could come But I don't need no woman taggin along I'll sneak out that door Couldn't stand to see you cry I'd stay another year if I saw a ctear drop in your eye Heard it in a love song (3x) Can't be wrong I never had a damn thing, but what I had I had to leave it behind You're the hardest thing I ever tried to get off of my mind Always something greener on the other side of that hill I was born a wrangler and a rounder and I guess I always will Heard it in a love song (3x) Can't be wrong

Only love Can make it rain The way the beach is kissed by the sea Only love Can make it rain Like the sweat of lovers' Laying in the fields Love, reign o'er me Love, reign o'er me, rain on me, rain on me Only love Can bring the rain That makes you yearn to the sky Only love Can bring the rain That falls like tears from on high Love, reign o'er me, rain on me, rain on me Love, reign o'er me, rain on me, rain on me On the dry and dusty road The nights we spend apart alone I need to get back home to cool, cool rain I can't sleep and I lay and I think The night is hot and black as ink Oh God, I need a drink of cool, cool rain Love, reign o'er me, rain on me, on me, on me, oh Love, reign o'er me, whoa, on me Love

He had white horses And ladies by the score All dressed in satin And waiting by the door Ooooh, what a lucky man he was Ooooh, what a lucky man he was White lace and feathers They made up his bed A gold covered mattress On which he was laid Ooooh, what a lucky man he was Ooooh, what a lucky man he was He went to fight wars [From: http://www.elyrics.net/read/e/emerson,-lake-&-palmer-lyrics/lucky-man-lyrics.html] For his country and his king Of his honor and his glory The people would sing Ooooh, what a lucky man he was Ooooh, what a lucky man he was A bullet had found him His blood ran as he cried No money could save him So he laid down and he died Ooooh, what a lucky man he was Ooooh, what a lucky man he was

I looked out this morning and the sun was gone Turned on some music to start my day I lost myself in a familiar song I closed my eyes and I slipped away It's more than a feeling, when I hear that old song they used to play (more than a feeling) I begin dreaming (more than a feeling) 'Till I see Marianne walk away I see my Marianne walkin' away So many people have come and gone Their faces fade as the years go by Yet I still recall as I wander on As clear as the sun in the summer sky It's more than a feeling, when I hear that old song they used to play (more than a feeling) I begin dreaming (more than a feeling) 'Till I see Marianne walk away I see my Marianne walkin' away When I'm tired and thinking cold I hide in my music, forget the day And dream of a girl I used to know I closed my eyes and she slipped away She slipped away It's more than a feeling, when I hear that old song they used to play (more than a feeling) I begin dreaming (more than a feeling) 'Till I see Marianne walk away

Purple haze all in my brain Lately things just don't seem the same Actin' funny, but I don't know why 'Scuse me while I kiss the sky Purple haze all around Don't know if I'm comin' up or down Am I happy or in misery? Whatever it is that girl put a spell on me Purple haze all in my eyes Don't know if it's day or night You got me blowin', blowin' my mind Is it tomorrow, or just the end of time?

Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose And sometimes the blues just get a hold of you Oh, just when you though you had made it All around the block people will talk I wannna give it all that I've got I just don't want, I don't wanna waste it Talkin' 'bout sweet seasons on my mind Sure does appeal to me You know you we can get there easily Just like a sailboat sailin' on the sea Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose And most times you choose between the two Oh, wondering, wondering if you have made it But I'll have some kids and make my plans And I'll watch the seasons running away And I'll build me a life in the open, a life in the country I'm talkin' 'bout sweet seasons on my mind Sure does appeal to me You know you can get there easily Just like a sailboat sailin' on the sea Talkin' 'bout sweet seasons Talkin' 'bout sweet, sweet, sweet seasons Talkin' 'bout sweet seasons Talkin' 'bout sweet seasons

I was searchin' SEARCHIN' on a one-way street, I was hopin' HOPIN' for a chance to meet. I was waitin' for the operator on the line. SHE'S GONE SO LONG What can I do? WHERE COULD SHE BE? No no no, don't know what I'm gonna do, I gotta get back to you. You gotta slow down SLOW DOWN sweet talkin' woman SLOW DOWN You got me runnin' RUN RUN you got me searchin'. Hold on HOLD ON sweet talkin' lover HOLD ON It's so sad if that's the way it's over. I was WALKIN' many days go by, I was thinkin' THINKIN' 'bout the lonely nights. Communication breakdown all around. I've been livin' LIVIN' on a dead end street, I've been askin' ASKIN' KINDLY everybody I meet. Insufficient data coming through. SHE'S GONE SO LONG What can I do? WHERE COULD SHE BE? No no no, don't know what I'm gonna do, I gotta get back to you. Oh, slow down SLOW DOWN sweet talkin' woman SLOW DOWN You got me runnin' RUN RUN you got me searchin'. Hold on HOLD ON sweet talkin' lover HOLD ON It's so sad if that's the way it's over. [repeat & fade out]

So you think you're a Romeo Playing a part in a picture-show Take the long way home Take the long way home 'Cause you're the joke of the neighborhood Why should you care if you're feeling good Take the long way home Take the long way home But there are times that you feel you're part of the scenery All the greenery is comin' down, boy And then your wife seems to think you're part of the furniture Oh, it's peculiar, she used to be so nice When lonely days turn to lonely nights You take a trip to the city lights And take the long way home Take the long way home You never see what you want to see Forever playing to the gallery You take the long way home Take the long way home And when you're up on the stage, it's so unbelievable, Oh unforgettable, how they adore you, But then your wife seems to think you're losing your sanity, Oh, calamity, is there no way out, oh yeah Ooh, take it, take it out Take it, take it out Oh yeah Does it feel that your life's become a catastrophe? Oh, it has to be for you to grow, boy When you look through the years and see what you could have been Oh, what you might have been, If you'd had more time So, when the day comes to settle down, Who's to blame if you're not around? You took the long way home You took the long way home Took the long way home You took the long way home You took the long way home, so long You took the long way home You took the long way home, uh yeah You took the long way home Long way home Long way home Long way home Long way home Long way home Long way home

When I was young, it seemed that life was so wonderful A miracle, oh it was beautiful, magical And all the birds in the trees, well they'd be singing so happily Oh joyfully, playfully watching me But then they send me away to teach me how to be sensible Logical, oh responsible, practical And they showed me a world where I could be so dependable Oh clinical, oh intellectual, cynical There are times when all the world's asleep The questions run too deep For such a simple man Won't you please, please tell me what we've learned I know it sounds absurd Please tell me who I am I said, watch what you say or they'll be calling you a radical Liberal, oh fanatical, criminal Won't you sign up your name, we'd like to feel you're acceptable Respectable, oh presentable, a vegetable Oh, take it take it yeah But at night, when all the world's asleep The questions run so deep For such a simple man Won't you please tell me what we've learned I know it sounds absurd Please tell me who I am, who I am, who I am, who I am 'Cause I was feeling so logical D-d-digital One, two, three, five Oh, oh, oh, oh It's getting unbelievable

The city streets are empty now THE LIGHTS DON'T SHINE NO MORE and so the songs are way down low TURNING TURNING TURNING A sound that flows into my mind THE ECHOES OF THE DAYLIGHT of everything that is alive IN MY BLUE WORLD I turn to stone when you are gone, I turn to stone. Turn to stone when you comin' home, I can't go on. The dying embers of the night A FIRE THAT SLOWLY FADES TILL DAWN still glow upon the wall so bright BURNING BURNING BURNING The tired streets that hide away FROM HERE TO EVERYWHERE THEY GO roll past my door into the day IN MY BLUE WORLD I turn to stone when you are gone, I turn to stone. Turn to stone when you comin' home, I can't go on. Turn to stone when you are gone, I turn to stone. Yes, I'm turnin' to stone 'cos you ain't comin' home. Why you ain't comin' home if I'm turnin' to stone? You've been gone for so long and I can't carry on, yes, I'm turnin', I'm turnin', I'm turnin' to stone. The dancing shadows on the wall THE TWO-STEP IN THE HALL are all I see since you've been gone TURNING TURNING TURNING Through all I sit here and I wait I TURN TO STONE I TURN TO STONE You will return again some day TO MY BLUE WORLD I turn to stone when you are gone, I turn to stone. Turn to stone when you comin' home, I can't go on. Turn to stone when you are gone, I turn to stone. I turn to stone when you are gone, I turn to stone. Turn to stone when you comin' home, I can't go on. Turn to stone when you are gone, I turn to stone.

The shackles are undone, the bullets quit the gun The heat that's in the sun will keep us when there's none The rule has been disproved, the stone it has been moved The grave is now a groove, all debts are removed Oh can't you see what love has done? Oh can't you see what love has done? Oh can't you see what love has done? What it's done to me? Love makes strange enemies, makes love where love may please The soul and its striptease, hate brought to its knees The sky over our head, we can reach it from our bed You let me in your heart and out of my head, head Oh can't you see what love has done? Oh can't you see what love has done? Oh can't you see what love has done? What it's done to me? Oh oh oh oh Oh oh oh oh Please don't ever let me out of you I've got no shame, oh no, oh no Oh can't you see what love has done? Oh can't you see? Oh can't you see what love has done? What it's doing to me? (Oh can't you see what love has done?) I know I hurt you and I made you cry Did everything but murder you and I (Oh can't you see what love has done?) (Oh can't you see what love has done?) But love left a window in the skies (What it's doing to me?) And to love I rhapsodize (Oh can't you see what love has done?) To every broken heart (Oh can't you see what love has done?) For every heart that cries (Oh can't you see what love has done?) Love left a window in the skies (What it's doing to me?) And to love I rhapsodize Oh can't you see?
19.
So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell, Blue skies from pain. Can you tell a green field From a cold steel rail? A smile from a veil? Do you think you can tell? Did they get you to trade Your heroes for ghosts? Hot ashes for trees? Hot air for a cool breeze? And cold comfort for change? Did you exchange A walk on part in the war, For a lead role in a cage? How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls Swimming in a fish bowl, Year after year, Running over the same old ground. What have we found The same old fears. Wish you were here.
20.
Ride, ride my see-saw, Take this place On this trip Just for me. Ride, take a free ride, Take my place Have my seat It's for free. I worked like a slave for years, Sweat so hard just to end my fears. Not to end my life a poor man, But by now, I know I should have run. Run, run my last race, Take my place Have this number Of mine. Run, run like a fire, Don't you run in In the lanes Run for time. Left school with a first class pass, Started work but as second class. School taught one and one is two. But right now, that answer just ain't true. Ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah ah Ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah ah My world is spinning around, Everything is lost that I found. People run, come ride with me, Let's find another place that's free. Ride, ride my see-saw, Take this place On this trip Just for me. Ride, take a free ride, Take my place Have my seat It's for free. Ride, my see-saw. Ride, ride, ride, my see-saw. Ride, my see-saw...

about

Michael William Andersen Los Angeles, California

There was a Professional Rock Band in San Francisco in the Seventies. I had met Larry Hanson in about 1973 in Salt Lake City and he showed me how to play Rock Music. I thought I heard him on the radio with Styx after coming home from his house one day. I bought decent equipment in 2003 and made these recordings because the UofU demanded pay. They have called me Totally Permanently Disabled. ... more
